According to the principals of Compass School Feng Shui, place your water feature in the North of a room, yard or garden.
Where should I NEVER place a water feature?
NEVER place a water feature anywhere in your bedroom.
How do I find the North area of my room?
You already have a general idea of East (sun rise) and West (sun set), so you have a general idea which way is North. But Compass School Feng Shui differentiates North from North East or North West. So, to make sure you know which area is North,
1) take a good compass and stand in the center of the room.
2) Turn your body in a circle until the compass needle is pointing to the N on the compass.
The needle is now pointing to the North area of the room. Place the fountain in that area.
